DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for a "Wicked" good time\, as a Charles City Halloween tradition returns for its 31st year on Monday\, October 26th because "A Wicked Good Spookwalk" is the theme for this year's Spookwalk put on by Main Street Charles City!This free\, family-focused event will take place from 4:30-6:30p along the riverfront trail starting behind the First Baptist Church and Immaculate Conception Church. Intended for children up through sixth grade and their families\, Spookwalk offers an opportunity for them to walk the trail at Riverfront Park in costume and visit decorated treat stations along the way.A special pre-entry period from 4:00-4:30p will be offered for children who have special sensory needs or may struggle with large crowds. You must call the Main Street Charles City Office or email info@charlescitychamber.com to pre-register for this. No early entry will be allowed that night without pre-registration. Pre-registration will become available starting on October 12th and end at noon on October 26th.Any business or non-profit organization is welcome to participate in Spookwalk with a treat station. There is no fee\, just the requirement to decorate your booth and be prepared to hand out treats to 1\,500 kids. You must register with Main Street Charles City by October 21st if you would like to take part. There will be judging for the Best Use of Theme\, Most Creative\, Mayor's Choice\, Kid's Choice\, President's Award and Best Overall Treat Station.In the case of inclement weather\, the rain date will be Wednesday October 28th.
